If you’ve ever wondered what Easter Sessions with live Bunnies are like, this is the place for you!

Easter is one of my favorite times of year! It means winter is almost over, the school year is about to end, and my favorite mini photo session is happening- BUNNIES! I introduced bunny sessions in 2022, then, in 2023, I completely sold out of both days! It’s definitely a crowd favorite, who can resist the most adorable photos created when you pair bunnies and babies?!

I get many of the same questions from clients when they are thinking about booking a spot. So, I figured I would the answers all in one place! Here is the low down on Live Bunny Sessions for Easter!

What do we wear?

Choosing the right outfit can make a big difference in how your photos turn out. The backdrop is a teal, white and green with a cobblestone floor. I recommend soft, pastel colors or spring-themed outfits. Think light pinks, baby blues, lavender, and mint greens. For a more neutral look, white and light beige also work beautifully. Avoid busy patterns, those can be distracting and take the focus away from the kiddos! Bowties, dresses, suspenders are also perfect options! I’ll have a few different types of bunny ears that can be kind of fun for these photos!

What happens when we arrive?

These mini sessions are held in the Omaha, Nebraska studio (Dundee neighborhood). When you book, your confirmation and reminder email will have a map with where to park and which door to go into. The studio is a shared space so other photographers will be in other rooms. I’ll have signs posted at the doors and an assistant to help you out!

I recommend arriving a few minutes early. This gives you and kiddos time to settle in and be comfortable in a new space. This may be the first time your child has had this experience, so being able to take your time to warm up is great!

Will 15 minutes be enough time?

Absolutely! This is my third year doing bunny photos and I’ve found that 15 minutes is a good sweet spot for time! Just enough time to warm them up, get a few different poses or props and mom and dad have time to jump in for a few!

Can parents be in the photos too?

Yes! You will LOVE the bunnies! I encourage parents to hop in for at least one pose!

How do we get our images?

Great question! Over the next week, I will upload and edit your photos and place them in a private gallery for you. You will receive a confirmation email that your images are ready to be selected. Most galleries will have anywhere from 20-40 images. You get to select the 5 you want to download and keep. If you can’t decide and want them all, just let me know and I’ll update your invoice and send all the photos your way! (:
